Plum Pretty Sugar opens a shop in Orange County for the free-spirited bride-to-be.

Beloved for its ultrafeminine line of pastel-hued bridesmaids’ gowns and wedding day robes, online apparel and accessories brand Plum Pretty Sugar is gracing Orange County with its first brick-and-mortar. “Our clients wanted a place where they could hang out and bring their friends,” says founder, owner and creative director Charlotte Hale. Expanding on the online store, the airy boutique plays host to exclusive floral-printed sleepwear, honeymoon-ready rompers and dresses, home decor and bridesmaid gifts. Also look for jewelry from Lulu Designs, stationery sets from Rifle Paper Co. and Herbivore Botanicals’ all-natural lip balm.

With the new store in full swing, Hale shows no signs of slowing down. This fall, Plum Pretty Sugar’s bridesmaid dress collection, PPS Couture, will debut pastel floral gowns in new colorways, as well as solid-colored garments inspired by “midsummer days and ballet; bohemian, but classical, all at the same time,” says Hale. Like all of her designs, “the silhouettes are flowing and graceful with a sense of movement and whimsy.” Village at La Floresta, 3349 E. Imperial Hwy.,
