For Mandy Moore’s romantic wedding to Taylor Goldsmith, the pros of Striiike studio conjure a sweet bridal beauty look

Before actor and singer Mandy Moore could even ask her glam squad about her November nuptials to musician and Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith, Ashley, Kristie and Jenn Streicher—the trio behind Beverly Hills beauty studio Striiike—had offered up their services.

“I’m pretty sure it was me that insisted I do her wedding look! Like, possibly before her and Taylor were even getting married,” says hairstylist Ashley, who, along with her sisters, began working with and then befriended the This Is Us star four years ago.

During a fitting for Mandy’s custom Rodarte wedding dress, Ashley and makeup artist Jenn quickly found their inspiration in the gown’s soft pink hue and ruffles. “It was very romantic and that’s how I wanted her makeup to be. Timeless but not boring,” says Jenn. “[Mandy and I] decided we’d do some sort of flowers in her hair after we saw Rodarte’s latest show; we’re very inspired by those sisters,” says Ashley, referring to the fresh roses in the coifs of the models who floated down the runway in designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s Spring 2019 collection.

On the day of the intimate wedding held in the backyard of the couple’s Los Angeles home, Jenn and Ashley, together with stylist Kevin Ericson, readied the bride at home (Kristie shaped her brows ahead of time). “I think it’s important to feel comfortable and relaxed during the process,” says Jenn, who turned to Tom Ford eyeshadow in Fuchsia Foil and Dior Lip Glow in Matte Raspberry to create Mandy’s dreamy makeup. After curling, brushing and gently backcombing the hair into a soft middle part (held in place by Garnier Fructis’ Extreme Control hairsrpay), Ashley carefully secured flowers from Mandy’s bridal bouquet into her hair. A lacy custom Rodarte veil, pinned in place like a crown, completed the look.

Following the ceremony, festivities continued at The Fig House in Highland Park, where the bride opted for a Rosie Assoulin black dress, with ’70s glamour-inspired hair and makeup.

An added bonus of having your makeup artist and hairstylist as wedding guests? “I brought a comb and hairspray to the party,” says Ashley. “She didn’t ask me to, but it’s hard to be there and not touch her up!” 9278 Civic Center Dr., Beverly Hills, 310-205 2600; striiike.com.
